There is no Manifest ‘Manifesto’, not as such… But if there were, then ‘flair’, ‘passion’, ‘precision’ and ‘attention to detail’ might be suitable keywords with which to pepper the page, and there would probably something catchy about embracing the ‘old’ world of a traditional local barbershop and the brave ‘new’ world of modern styling and haircare.

“It’s only a haircut…” after all, but it’s your haircut and our passion. So come and have a chat, come and tell us what you want, and we’ll take it from there. We’re always happy to try something new, but we’re certainly not afraid to offer expert guidance where appropriate…

Vlad

The founder and owner of the Manifest salon, which first opened its doors in 2014. Having set out working on hair as something of a hobby, he quickly developed an eminently professional desire to learn and expand the art of styling, and with his natural eye for precision and a relentless work ethic, he achieved his goal of founding and establishing a quality London salon in double-quick time, with an extensive and very loyal customer base into the bargain. Vlad is an infectious character. From his chair nearest the door, he sets the tone for the whole salon, working hard while putting everyone at ease with a very genuine, welcoming smile.

Andrei

Of all the early starters at Manifest, it was Andrei who started out the youngest – an enthusiastic apprentice at just 15 years of age. He has continued to cultivate his passion ever since and his love for hair shines through in all his work, not to mention the ink on his arms, which echoes Kandinsky, the Bauhaus and Vidal Sassoon and reflects his fascination for the three-dimensional geometry of modern hair-styling theory. Andrei is inspired by many of the best-known hairdressers that the UK has to offer. Never afraid to try something new, he works with precision and flair at all times.
